Alliance Train (Season 2)
Alliance Train in Season 2
The Alliance Train continues as a daily routine in Season 2. The mechanics are unchanged, but Season 2's resource economy shifts what wagons you prioritise and how the train fits into your daily schedule alongside furnace management, coal gathering, and Beast Crisis preparation.
For the full mechanics breakdown, see the Alliance Train Guide.
The Alliance Train is still a daily non-negotiable, but wagon priorities have shifted. Coal and Titanium Alloy are now critical resources that may appear in wagon selections. These Season 2 resources change which wagons you grab. The train's daily rewards compound — skipping days during Season 2 because "there is too much else to do" is a mistake.
What Is Different in Season 2
Season 2 Resource Wagons
Season 2 introduces wagons that carry Polar Storm-specific resources:
- Coal wagons — if available, these are high priority. Coal keeps your furnace running and running out locks you at -20C
- Titanium Alloy wagons — furnace upgrade material. If these appear, they accelerate your furnace progression
- Standard resource wagons — oil, speedups, gear materials, and hero materials remain valuable
- Check wagon contents carefully each day — Season 2 wagons may rotate
Stronger Guards Than Ever
Your alliance members now have Season 1 gold gear, Exclusive Weapons at Level 20-30, and T10 troops:
- Guard teams are dramatically harder for attackers to defeat
- Murphy with Mitigation Master at Level 30 is essentially unbeatable in the 3v3 guard format
- DVA with Energy Master can one-shot enemy guard teams
- Fewer successful attacks means more consistent reward delivery
Alliance Furnace Scheduling Conflict
The Alliance Furnace and Beast Crisis events create scheduling pressure:
- Do not schedule trains during Beast Crisis windows — your alliance needs all hands on furnace defence
- Coal gathering may compete with train timing — ensure marches are available for both
- Train rewards help fuel furnace progression — speedup wagons and resource wagons support furnace upgrades
Season 2 Wagon Selection Priority
Season 2 Train Optimisation
Driver Guard Strategy
With maxed Season 1 weapons and gear, optimise guard teams for Season 2:
- All 3 guard teams should feature heroes with Exclusive Weapons — the power gap between weaponized and non-weaponized heroes is enormous in 3v3
- Murphy with Mitigation Master in one guard team makes that team nearly unbeatable
- DVA with Energy Master in another provides offensive guard power that eliminates attackers
- Diversify troop types across guard teams — prevents attackers from type-matching all three
Temperature and Scheduling
Season 2 adds temperature considerations to train scheduling:
- Schedule the train when all active members are above -20C — locked-out members cannot participate
- Avoid Cold Wave overlap if possible — fewer participants means worse rewards
- Keep the fixed daily schedule but communicate adjustments when Season 2 events conflict
- Beast Crisis takes priority over the train — if both happen simultaneously, defend the furnace first
Gold Express in Season 2
Gold Express remains achievable and important:
- 5 refreshes with 20+ active participants donating trade contracts
- Season 2's resource demands make Gold Express rewards even more valuable — every resource helps
- Driver rotation among your 3-5 strongest players continues weekly
- Do not let Season 2 event fatigue erode train participation — the daily compound effect is too valuable to skip
Season 2 Train Schedule
- Fixed time every day — same as Season 1, no exceptions
- Check for Beast Crisis conflicts before train time — if overlap, defer train or adjust schedule
- Driver rotates weekly among strongest players — Season 2 guard strength makes any strong player viable
- All passengers board within 5 minutes of departure
- Contract donations immediately — Gold Express requires consistency
- VIP Passenger Seat rotation continues — priority to consistent participants
Common Season 2 Train Mistakes
- Skipping the train because of Season 2 event overload — the train's daily rewards compound. Missing days costs resources you cannot recover
- Not selecting coal or titanium wagons — these are new high-priority options in Season 2
- Scheduling over Beast Crisis — furnace defence takes priority. Adjust train timing when conflicts arise
- Not rotating drivers — Season 2's additional events create more burnout. Rotate weekly
- Weak guard teams despite maxed weapons — reassign Exclusive Weapon heroes to guard duty. The 3v3 format amplifies weapon advantage
- Ignoring temperature for train participation — members locked out at -20C cannot board. Help them manage temperature
