Black Market Guide (Season 2)

Season Mechanics · 2026-03-24

Your Second Chance at Missed Weapons

The Black Market appears during the Season 2 off-season and offers one critical function: acquiring Exclusive Weapons you missed during the season. If you failed to obtain a weapon during its original availability window, the Black Market is your safety net — but it comes at a premium.

Higher Prices, Guaranteed Availability

Black Market prices are higher than what the weapons cost during their original season. This is by design. The Black Market is a catch-up mechanic, not a discount shop. You are paying a premium for the convenience of guaranteed availability. If you had the chance to earn a weapon during the season and skipped it, expect to pay more now. Factor this into your spending decisions.

What Is Available

The Black Market stocks Exclusive Weapons from the current and previous seasons. This includes weapons you may have missed due to:

  • Not participating in the event that awarded them
  • Starting the season late and missing early event windows
  • Not having enough resources to acquire them when they were available
  • Choosing a different weapon when only one could be obtained

Priority Purchases

Not every weapon in the Black Market deserves your resources. Prioritise based on actual combat impact:

Buy Immediately

  • Weapons for your primary squad type that you missed entirely — having zero copies of a key weapon is a significant power gap
  • Weapons that complete a set bonus — if you have 3 of 4 pieces and the set bonus is strong, the fourth piece is worth the premium
  • Meta-defining weapons that are core to current PvP or PvE builds — these affect every fight you take

Buy If You Can Afford It

  • Secondary squad weapons that would improve your flexibility
  • Weapons with strong passive effects that benefit your overall account even if they are not for your main squad
  • Upgrade materials for weapons you already own — if the Black Market offers promotion materials, these can be worth the cost

Skip Unless Wealthy

  • Weapons for squad types you do not play — a Tank weapon does no good if you run Aircraft
  • Cosmetic or marginal upgrades — a small stat bump on a weapon you rarely use is not worth the Black Market premium
  • Weapons you will have another chance to earn — if the same weapon will be available in a future event at normal prices, wait
Budget Before You Browse

Decide your spending limit before opening the Black Market. The inventory is designed to be tempting. Everything looks like a deal when you know you missed it. Set a budget based on your actual resource situation, prioritise the 1-2 weapons that matter most for your account, and walk away once you have spent your budget. Impulse buying at inflated prices is the most common Black Market mistake.

When to Buy vs When to Wait

The decision to buy from the Black Market depends on timing and opportunity cost:

Buy Now If:

  • The weapon is critical for your current squad and you have no alternative
  • You will not have another chance to acquire it before the next competitive event
  • The price, while high, is within your budget without crippling other progression
  • The weapon unlocks a meaningful power spike — like completing a set or enabling a new strategy

Wait If:

  • An upcoming event will offer the same weapon at normal prices
  • You are saving resources for a known high-value opportunity in the next season
  • The weapon is a marginal upgrade rather than a must-have
  • Your primary squad is already well-equipped and the purchase is more about collection than combat power

Common Mistakes

  1. Buying everything available — the Black Market is not a clearance sale. Be selective and strategic
  2. Ignoring the Black Market entirely — if you missed a critical weapon, the premium is worth paying. Falling further behind is more expensive
  3. Not checking weapon relevance to your squad — a weapon is only valuable if it fits your build. Do not buy based on rarity alone
  4. Spending all your premium currency — leave a reserve for upcoming season events and Hot Deals
  5. Panic buying at the last minute — the Black Market has a known window. Check the inventory early and make decisions with time to think
  6. Not comparing to future acquisition opportunities — if the same weapon will be available next season at normal cost, waiting saves resources
  7. Buying duplicates you do not need — unless you are specifically promoting a weapon and need extra copies, one is enough
