Hero Guide (Season 2)
What Changes in Season 2
Season 2 brings one major hero change and shifts the context in which heroes operate:
- Carlie gets her Exclusive Weapon — she rises in the tier list with a well-rounded HP, Defence, and Attack boost
- No new UR promotions — the hero roster is the same as Season 1
- All Season 1 heroes and weapons carry forward — Mason remains UR, all Exclusive Weapons remain active
- Season 2 content priorities shift — Beast Crisis defence, city garrison, and Rare Soil capture determine which heroes matter most

Season 2 Hero Tier List
S-Tier (Top Priority Investment)
HeroTypeRoleWhy S-Tier in Season 2
DVAAircraftSingle-Target BurstEnergy Master at Level 30 is the strongest burst in the game. Essential for breaking city garrisons and PvP. Unchanged from Season 1
MurphyTankDefence/GarrisonThe most versatile hero in Season 2. Mitigation Master makes him the best garrison hero for cities and Alliance Furnace. Enables the Murphy Exception in Aircraft. Triple value — Tank squad, Aircraft squad, and garrison duty
KimberlyTankAoE DPSRocket Shadow remains the strongest Tank damage source. Excellent for Beast Crisis wave clear and multi-target garrison defence
TeslaMissileDPSAircraft meta continuing means Tesla remains essential. Lightning Chain shreds Aircraft garrisons and Aircraft rally forces
A-Tier (Strong Investment)
HeroTypeRoleWhy A-Tier in Season 2
CarlieAircraftTankExclusive Weapon elevates her from a functional tank to a strong one. Essential backup when Murphy is garrisoning. Approximately 10% HP/DEF/ATK per weapon level
FionaMissileAoE DPSRadiation DoT benefits from Carlie's weapon making Aircraft tanks survive longer — more stacking time means more damage. Co-carry alongside Tesla
WilliamsTankDefencePercentage-based damage reduction scales with enemy strength. As Aircraft burst gets stronger, Williams absorbs proportionally more. Excellent Beast Crisis anchor
MasonTankDPSUR-promoted. PvE bonuses shine in Beast Crisis — Zombie Purge passive applies to Beast Crisis enemies. Reliable Tank secondary DPS
SchuylerAircraftCrowd ControlStuns remain essential for disrupting enemy carries in city capture rallies. Unchanged importance from Season 1
MarshallTankSupport16.5% attack buff and 30% cooldown reduction. Exclusive Weapon arriving in Season 3 will elevate him further
B-Tier (Situational)
HeroTypeRoleNotes
MorrisonAircraftDefence ShredArmor-Piercing Shot amplifies DVA's burst against city garrisons. Essential for Aircraft but lower individual impact
LuciusAircraftTankSilver Armor and Knights Spirit for front-row defence. Stays in formation in both standard and Murphy Exception
McGregorMissileDPSFront-row secondary DPS for Missiles. Steady targeted damage
ScarlettTankDefenceCollect shards for Season 3 UR promotion. Not a priority investment now but approaching relevance
Key Tier Changes from Season 1
Carlie: A-Tier → A-Tier (Higher)
Carlie's Exclusive Weapon is the only hero-level upgrade in Season 2. She does not jump to S-tier because Murphy Exception still outperforms the standard formation at equal investment. But she becomes significantly stronger:
- The standard Aircraft formation is now competitive for players without heavy Murphy investment
- Murphy Exception players still need Carlie — when Murphy is garrisoning a city or the Alliance Furnace, Carlie takes his front-row slot
- New Aircraft players benefit most — Carlie's weapon makes the entry-level Aircraft formation much more viable
Murphy: S-Tier → S-Tier (Even Higher)
Murphy was already S-tier. In Season 2, his garrison value makes him irreplaceable:
- Best city garrison hero — a Murphy garrison is the hardest to break
- Best Alliance Furnace defender — Beast Crisis with Murphy anchoring is dramatically easier
- Still essential for Murphy Exception — his dual-role creates a constant tension between garrison and PvP
- Triple value — Tank squad, Aircraft squad, garrison. No other hero serves three roles this effectively
Fiona: A-Tier → A-Tier (Situationally Higher)
Fiona's Radiation DoT benefits from the meta continuing to feature tanky Aircraft front lines:
- Carlie's Exclusive Weapon makes Aircraft tanks survive longer — which means more Radiation stacking time
- Murphy Exception tanks are even tankier with Level 30 weapons — more stacking time
- Fiona's value increases as fights get longer, and Season 2 fights trend longer due to stronger defences
Exclusive Weapon Priority (Season 2)
HeroWeaponSeason 2 Priority
Carlie~10% HP/DEF/ATK per level — well-rounded power boostNEW in Season 2. Push to Level 20, then Level 30. Priority for all Aircraft players

MurphyMitigation Master — garrison and squad defenceShould already be Level 20+. Push to Level 30 for maximum garrison value

Season 2 Investment Strategy
For Aircraft Players
- Carlie — Exclusive Weapon to Level 20, then 30. This is the Season 2 priority
- DVA — finish weapon to Level 30 if not done. Continue starring up
- Murphy — finish weapon to Level 30 for garrison and Murphy Exception value
- Remaining squad — push all weapons and skills to maximum
For Tank Players
- Kimberly — finish weapon to Level 30. Beast Crisis DPS priority
- Murphy — finish weapon to Level 30. Garrison and Beast Crisis anchor
- Mason, Marshall, Williams — complete all weapons and skills to maximum
- Scarlett — collect shards for Season 3 UR promotion
For Missile Players
- Tesla — finish weapon to Level 30. Primary Aircraft counter
- Fiona — continue shard collection for Season 5 weapon. Max current skills
- Remaining squad — push all weapons and skills to maximum
Common Season 2 Hero Mistakes
- Ignoring Carlie's Exclusive Weapon — even Murphy Exception players need a functional backup formation
- Not finishing Season 1 weapon levels — heroes with Level 15-20 weapons are leaving power on the table. Push to 30
- Neglecting Murphy's garrison value — he is the best city defender in the game. Invest accordingly
- Spreading investment across too many heroes — complete your primary squad's maximum levels before starting a second squad's upgrades
- Forgetting Scarlett shard collection — her Season 3 UR promotion is approaching and shard collection takes time
