Alliance Squad Coordination (Season 3)
Why Coordination Matters More Than Ever
Season 3 introduces Spice Wars — faction-level PvP that demands coordination not just within your alliance, but across your entire faction. The combat triangle matters on a scale you have not seen before. One alliance's Missile players defend against another alliance's Aircraft attackers. Rally leaders for CR-gated PvE must be identified and supported alliance-wide. The Faction Duel in Week 7 tests everything your alliance has built.
Spice Wars is not alliance-vs-alliance — it is faction-vs-faction. Your Missile players may be defending a building alongside Tank players from a different alliance in your faction. Coordination has to extend beyond your own roster. Alliances that can coordinate with their faction neighbours will dominate Spice Wars.
Ideal Alliance Composition (Season 3)
The composition shifts to serve dual demands — Spice Wars PvP and CR-gated PvE:
Multi-squad players are your most valuable members. A player who can run Tanks for garrison defence and Aircraft for building attacks provides the flexibility your alliance needs for Spice Wars.
The Combat Triangle in Spice Wars
Spice Wars Application
- Aircraft squads attack enemy buildings — they crack garrisons with DVA's burst and Morrison's armour shred
- Missile squads defend against enemy Aircraft — station Tesla and Fiona at your Alliance Center and key buildings
- Tank squads garrison and rally-lead — Murphy's Mitigation Master holds garrisons; Tanks lead CR-gated PvE rallies
- Scouting is essential — before attacking a building, know its garrison type. Sending Aircraft against a Missile garrison wastes troops
Rally Coordination for CR-Gated Content
The Rally Leader Rule
The rally leader's Curse Resistance applies to all participants. This changes how rallies are coordinated:
Designating Rally Leaders
- Identify 2-3 players as primary rally leaders on Day 1 of Season 3
- These players receive priority access to CR-boosting resources
- They should be online consistently for rally scheduling
- Backup leaders should be developing their CR in parallel
- See the Curse Resistance Guide for detailed CR strategy
Spice Wars Coordination
Pre-Round Planning
Before every Spice Wars round (Wednesday and Saturday):
- Assign defensive garrisons — who guards the Alliance Center? Who covers secondary buildings?
- Designate offensive rally leaders — Aircraft players with DVA and Exclusive Weapons lead attacks
- Identify Missile defenders — Tesla and Fiona squads station at key defensive positions
- Coordinate with faction allies — share your plan with other alliances in your faction
- Prepare Desert Protectors — everyone should have topped off Protectors from Tuesday/Friday PvE

Faction Duel Preparation (Week 7)
The Faction Duel is the culmination of Season 3. Your alliance coordination throughout weeks 1-6 determines your readiness:
Week-by-Week Preparation
Faction-Level Coordination
The Faction Duel is won by factions, not individual alliances. Establish communication with other alliances in your faction early. Share Spice Wars plans, coordinate defensive assignments, and discuss Duel strategy. A faction where all alliances work together will beat a faction with one strong alliance and several that freelance.
Roster Tracking (Season 3)
Update your alliance roster to track Season 3 specifics:
Track CR levels, Protector status, and Exclusive Weapons. Know who can lead rallies, who defends buildings, and who attacks.
Common Season 3 Coordination Mistakes
- Not establishing faction-wide communication — Spice Wars is faction-level. You need to talk to other alliances
- No designated CR rally leaders — spreading CR resources evenly wastes them. Concentrate on 2-3 leaders
- Ignoring Missile players — your faction needs anti-Aircraft garrison defence. Recruit and support Missile players
- Same pre-season coordination habits — Season 3 demands more than "everyone build Tanks." Diversify
- Not preparing for the Faction Duel from Week 1 — Week 7 arrives fast. Coordination habits built in Weeks 1-2 compound
- Poor Spice Wars garrison assignments — do not wing it. Plan garrison assignments before every round
- Not tracking Desert Protector status — if half your alliance shows up to Spice Wars with empty Protector fields, your defences crumble
