Alliance Train (Season 3)
Alliance Train in Season 3
The Alliance Train continues as a daily routine in Season 3. The fundamentals have not changed — drive the train, guard it, claim rewards. What changes is the resource context. Season 3 introduces Mithril, Sacred Water, and Spice as critical resources, and the train rewards need to be evaluated against these new demands.
For the full mechanics breakdown, see the Alliance Train Guide.
The train remains one of the most consistent daily resource sources in the game. By Season 3, your alliance should be running it on autopilot — fixed time, rotating drivers, Gold Express every day. The rewards compound. An alliance that has been running the train since pre-season has accumulated months of free resources that new alliances cannot match.
What Is Different in Season 3
Wagon Priority Shifts
Season 3 resources change which wagons matter most:
Stronger Guard Teams
By Season 3, your guard teams should be formidable:
- Multiple Exclusive Weapons available — Murphy, Kimberly, DVA, Marshall, and Carlie all have weapons
- Scarlett UR-promoted adds another strong Tank option for guard duty
- Guard teams with Exclusive Weapon heroes are nearly unbeatable in the 3v3 format
- Diversify guard team types — prevents attackers from type-matching all three teams

Season 3 Resource Considerations
Sacred Water and Mithril are not available as train rewards, but the speedups and materials from the train help fund Season 3 progression:
- Speedups from the train accelerate Curse Research Lab upgrades — every speedup saved means faster CR progression
- Gear materials from the train support Scarlett gearing — reducing the ceramic cost from your main production
- Hero materials contribute to Marshall's Exclusive Weapon — weapon upgrade materials are always welcome
Season 3 Train Schedule
Your schedule should be locked in from previous seasons. No changes needed:
- Fixed time every day — consistency is everything
- Driver rotates among 3-5 strongest players — their guard teams with Exclusive Weapons are the best deterrent
- Reminder posted 30 minutes before — even in a veteran alliance, reminders prevent missed runs
- All passengers board within 5 minutes
- Contract donations for Gold Express — no exceptions
Common Season 3 Train Mistakes
- Complacency from running the train for months — skipped days are still skipped rewards
- Not updating guard teams with Season 3 heroes — Scarlett UR and Marshall with weapon should be in your guard rotation
- Choosing low-value wagons — speedup and gear material wagons are higher priority in Season 3
- Not rotating VIP seat if unlocked — fair rotation among active members
- Driver burnout — keep rotating. No one should drive every day for weeks
