Sky Battlefront in Season 3

By Season 3, your alliance has the deepest roster of Exclusive Weapons yet. DVA, Kimberly, Murphy, Carlie, and now Marshall all have weapons. Scarlett's UR promotion adds another durable front-line option. Combined, these upgrades push your Sky Predator damage to levels that can overwhelm airship shield phases entirely.

Season 3 Weapon Density

With five heroes carrying Exclusive Weapons, your rally compositions are dramatically stronger than in previous seasons. Marshall's weapon alone adds a team-wide damage multiplier to every rally he joins. Rallies led by DVA or Kimberly with Marshall buffing deal damage that was not achievable in Season 2. Push your shield-break strategy accordingly.

What Is Different in Season 3

More Exclusive Weapons

Season 3 adds Marshall's Exclusive Weapon to the available arsenal. The full list of weapons your rally can leverage:

Marshall Changes Rally Math

Marshall's Exclusive Weapon amplifies his existing 16.5% attack buff and 30% cooldown reduction:

  • Every rally with Marshall deals significantly more damage — his buff applies to all rally participants
  • Cooldown reduction means more skill activations during each rally cycle
  • If your alliance has multiple Marshall players with weapons, stagger them across rallies so the buff is always active
  • Marshall does not need to lead the rally — he provides his buff from any position

Scarlett in Rally Defence

Scarlett's UR promotion provides another front-line option for rally durability:

  • Murphy and Scarlett together give Tank rallies exceptional survivability
  • This matters for shield-phase fights where the rally needs to survive extended damage
  • Scarlett frees Williams for garrison duty or backup formations

Spice Wars Scheduling Conflict

Sky Predator may overlap with Spice Wars preparation:

  • If Sky Predator falls on Tuesday or Friday, your PvE time is split between Protector generation and Sky Predator
  • Prioritise Spice Wars preparation over Sky Predator if forced to choose — Spice determines rankings
  • If no scheduling conflict, participate fully in Sky Predator for the rewards

Marshall in Every Rally

If you have Marshall with Exclusive Weapon, he should be in every rally. His team-wide damage buff is multiplicative with all other damage sources. A rally with DVA + Marshall (weapon) deals dramatically more damage than DVA alone. Prioritise getting Marshall into your rally formation even if it means adjusting other heroes.

Season 3 Shield-Break Strategy

With Marshall's weapon multiplying rally damage, shield-break approaches become more aggressive:

  • Marshall's weapon in garrison means your defenders' counter-damage is amplified
  • Higher star-promoted gear means bases survive more airship attacks

Common Season 3 Sky Predator Mistakes

  1. Not including Marshall (with weapon) in rallies — he provides the highest-value buff available. His weapon is a force multiplier
  2. Under-estimating alliance damage — with Marshall's weapon and Season 3 power levels, you may be able to skip shield phases entirely
  3. Scheduling conflict with Spice Wars prep — if Sky Predator falls near Spice Wars, budget your time and troops
  4. Neglecting Morrison — his armour shred amplifies Marshall's buffed damage. They stack multiplicatively
  5. Forgetting Rush Phase donations — still the most common mistake across all seasons
  6. Not leveraging Scarlett in front row — she provides rally durability that lets you push aggressive strategies
