Alliance Duel VS (Season 3)

Alliance Events · 2026-03-24

VS in Season 3

Alliance Duel VS continues its 6-day cycle in Season 3, but now competes for your attention with Spice Wars (Wednesday and Saturday). The dual PvP commitments require careful resource management. You cannot afford to go all-in on VS if it leaves you unprepared for Spice Wars, and vice versa.

For the full day-by-day mechanics, see the Alliance Duel VS Guide.

The Dual Commitment

Season 3 demands strong PvP performance in both VS and Spice Wars. VS runs weekly. Spice Wars runs Wednesday and Saturday. Wednesday VS coincides with Spice Wars, meaning you need troops, heroes, and resources for both on the same day. Poor planning here costs you in one or both events.

What Is Different in Season 3

Wednesday Overlap

Wednesday is both VS Day 3 (Research Day) and a Spice Wars day:

  • Spice Wars takes priority over VS Research Day — Spice is your ranking currency
  • Research points can be banked earlier in the week or completed before Spice Wars starts
  • Coordinate with your alliance — some members focus on VS while others handle Spice Wars, depending on timing
  • If the timing does not overlap, complete both. If it does, Spice Wars wins

Saturday Overlap

Saturday is VS Day 6 (Combat Day) and also a Spice Wars day:

  • Both demand your combat squads on the same day — troop management is critical
  • Heal between events — do not enter Spice Wars with wounded troops from VS Day 6
  • Desert Protectors generated from Day 6 troop losses can be used in Saturday Spice Wars
  • Plan your troop allocation — you may need to hold reserves for the second event

Stronger Squads Mean More Decisive Day 6

By Season 3, squads are at their strongest:

  • Multiple Exclusive Weapons per squad — Kimberly, DVA, Murphy, Carlie, Marshall all have weapons
  • Scarlett UR promotion adds another strong Tank option
  • T10 troops are standard
  • Day 6 combat is faster and more lethal than in previous seasons

Desert Protectors in Day 6

Desert Protectors add a new dimension to Day 6 combat:

  • Troop losses from Day 6 generate Protectors — aggressive combat has upside
  • Protectors cannot be used in VS Day 6 combat directly, but they carry over to Saturday Spice Wars
  • Losing troops on Day 6 is less punishing because of the Protector conversion

Season 3 Day Priority

DaySeason 3 PrioritySpice Wars Consideration
Day 1 (Radar)Low effortNo conflict — complete normally
Day 2 (Building)MediumSave Sacred Water for Curse Research Lab, not building rushes
Day 3 (Research)Medium — may overlap with Spice WarsWednesday Spice Wars takes priority if timing conflicts
Day 4 (Heroes)High — 2 VPSave hero items all week. Marshall Exclusive Weapon upgrades count
Day 5 (Mobilisation)Highest — 3 VPNo conflict — Day 5 does not overlap with Spice Wars
Day 6 (Combat)Highest — 4 VP, but also Spice Wars daySaturday Spice Wars demands troops too. Heal between events. Budget forces

Managing the Saturday Double Header

Saturday is the critical day. Both Day 6 VS combat and Spice Wars demand your combat squads:

Before the Day

  1. Heal all troops — enter Saturday at full strength
  2. Top off Desert Protectors — fight PvE content on Friday
  3. Know the schedule — which event starts first? Plan your troop commitment accordingly
  4. Set your strongest squad for both events — do not leave heroes unequipped

During the Day

  1. Complete the first event with your combat squad
  2. Heal all wounded troops immediately — use healing speedups if needed
  3. Enter the second event at maximum strength — do not fight half-strength
  4. Troop losses from VS Day 6 generate Desert Protectors — use them in Spice Wars if the timing works

After the Day

  1. Begin restocking troops for next week
  2. Review Spice Wars results — did you win or lose? Adjust strategy
  3. Start saving speedups for next Friday (Day 5)
Healing Speedups Are Premium

Keep a reserve of healing speedups specifically for Saturday. The gap between VS Day 6 and Saturday Spice Wars may be short. If you cannot heal your troops quickly enough, you enter Spice Wars at a disadvantage. Healing speedups are not just convenience — they are a competitive requirement on Saturdays.

Season 3 Day 6 Type Matching

Type matching in Day 6 follows the same principles, now with stronger squads:

Enemy RunsYour Response
Aircraft (most common)Deploy Missile squads. Tesla and Fiona counter Aircraft even with Exclusive Weapons
Tanks with ScarlettDeploy Aircraft. DVA burst still shreds Tanks regardless of Scarlett's UR stats
MissilesDeploy Tank squads. Murphy and Scarlett together wall Missile burst effectively
Mixed squadsScout individual targets. Type-match each engagement

Resource Management Across Both Events

Speedup Allocation

ResourceSeason 3 Allocation
Training speedupsSave for Friday Day 5. Do not spend on Spice Wars preparation
Healing speedupsReserve for Saturday double header. Essential for the VS-to-Spice Wars transition
Building speedupsPrioritise Curse Research Lab over VS Day 2 building upgrades
General speedupsSave for Day 5. These are your most flexible resource

Common Season 3 VS Mistakes

  1. Not planning for the Saturday double header — entering Spice Wars with wounded troops from Day 6 is a common and costly error
  2. Spending all speedups on VS while ignoring Spice Wars prep — both events matter. Budget resources for both
  3. Forgetting that Wednesday is also Spice Wars day — complete VS Day 3 research early if timing overlaps
  4. Not healing between events on Saturday — healing speedups are essential for the transition
  5. Treating VS as the only PvP event — Spice Wars determines your Season 3 ranking. VS rewards are important but Spice is everything
  6. Not leveraging Day 6 troop losses — they generate Desert Protectors. Aggressive Day 6 combat can actually prepare you for Spice Wars
