Season 2 Profession Point Allocation — Engineer vs War Leader

Profession · 2026-08-10

What This Is

A point-by-point allocation reference for Season 2 (level cap Lv 70, roughly 75 skill points — confirm your exact total in-game). Each skill shows the recommended Assign / Max and a Priority. Fill ⭐ Max-first skills before anything else — on their own they already run to about your whole Lv 70 budget; Then is where extra Skill-Point consumables go; Optional is off-role or situational, safe to skip on a focused build.

For which profession to run and when to switch, see the Profession System Guide. Short version:

Which profession, right now?

Season just started → run Engineer (growth phase). Spend one Profession Change Certificate to switch to War Leader when the war phase begins (Desert Storm, Capital Conquest, SvS, Faction Duel). Switching resets your points, so plan one clean switch per season. The permanent tree is the same every season — only the seasonal column below swaps — so this allocation reuses beyond S2 with a different seasonal set.

Season 2 Seasonal Column (shared — "Polar World")

The right-column skills are identical for Engineer and War Leader and refund at season end, so spend them freely. Grab the four EXP-snowball skills (Combat Experience, Building Inspiration I, Professional Insights, Double Exchange) first, then the frost combat skills.

Notes

  • Assign levels are a recommended priority build, not a hard rule — tune to your alliance's war schedule and your spending. Max-first ≈ your Lv 70 budget; the rest needs Skill-Point consumables.
  • Combat Experience and Professional Insights are seasonal-only — they are not in the permanent tree (the game files carry a placeholder copy that isn't a real node).
  • Source: game data (lw_mastery) + official localisation; skill names and max levels are game-accurate. Point total and assign levels are guidance — confirm in your client.
