Alliance Train (Season 4)
Alliance Train in Season 4
The Alliance Train continues daily in Season 4. The fundamentals are unchanged, but Evernight Isle introduces unique considerations: darkness affects train routes, Blood Night windows can disrupt schedules, and Copper War competes for alliance attention.
For the full mechanics breakdown, see the Alliance Train Guide.
Season 4 has more demands on your alliance's time and attention than any previous season. It is tempting to skip the train when Copper War is active and Blood Night requires response. Do not. The daily compounding rewards from consistent Gold Express train runs are significant, and they are resources you need for everything else this season demands. Maintain the habit.
What Is Different in Season 4
Darkness and Train Routes
The perpetual darkness on Evernight Isle affects your train:
- Ensure your train route is within Lighthouse range — bases outside the light zone have reduced effectiveness
- Alliance members should be basing near each other anyway for Lighthouse coverage — this naturally keeps the train route compact
- The Light Buff provides bonus stats that benefit guard teams during the train
- If a member is in a dark zone, their base may attract stronger zombie interference during the train
Blood Night Schedule Conflicts
Blood Night windows (02:30, 10:30, 18:30) can overlap with your train schedule:
- Do not schedule your train during a Blood Night window — the 30-minute zombie power spike can interfere with train completion
- If your alliance's standard train time is near 10:30 or 18:30, shift it by 30-60 minutes to avoid overlap
- The 02:30 window is unlikely to conflict with any train schedule
- Plan your daily train time to fall clearly between Blood Night windows
The safest train windows are 03:30-10:00, 11:30-18:00, and 19:30-02:00 server time. Pick one of these windows that works for your alliance's time zones and stick to it. Consistency matters more than the exact time.
Copper War Attention Competition
During Copper War (Week 4+), alliance attention is pulled in multiple directions:
- Train rewards still matter — speedups and resources from trains directly support Copper War efforts
- Driver rotation prevents burnout — if your best players are leading Copper War rallies, do not also force them to drive every day
- Keep the train schedule fixed — changing times because of Copper War chaos leads to missed trains
T11 Troop Guard Teams
With T11 troops, guard teams during the train are significantly stronger:
- Murphy with Mitigation Master and T11 Armored Troopers in a guard team is nearly unbeatable
- Diversify guard team types — putting all three guard teams as Tank makes them predictable. Mix in Aircraft and Missile guards
- Tactics Cards apply to guard teams — ensure your PvP Tactics Card loadout is equipped if you expect attacks
- Stronger guards mean fewer successful attacks and fewer reward losses
Season 4 Train Optimisation
Guard Strategy
Wagon Selection in Season 4
Season 4 resource priorities affect wagon choices:
- Speedup wagons — always valuable. Used for Copper War troop replacement, VS preparation, and building upgrades
- Resource wagons — offset the -30% darkness generation penalty. Every resource counts more in Season 4
- Gear material wagons — ceramic and blueprint components for star promotion and Armament Institute support
- Hero material wagons — Exclusive Weapon materials remain valuable for levelling
- Armament materials — if available in wagon rewards, these support Armament Institute research
Maintaining Discipline
The biggest challenge in Season 4 is not the train itself — it is keeping the habit:
- Fixed time every day — between Blood Night windows, same time, no exceptions
- Driver rotates weekly — do not burn out your strongest players who are also leading Copper War
- Reminder posted 30 minutes before — Blood Night chaos can make people forget
- Contract donations on time — Gold Express consistency is essential
- All passengers board within 5 minutes — tight boarding prevents schedule slippage
Common Season 4 Train Mistakes
- Scheduling the train during Blood Night — the 30-minute zombie power spike disrupts everything. Avoid overlap
- Skipping trains during Copper War — the compounding daily rewards are resources you need for Copper War
- Weak guard teams despite T11 troops — reassign your strongest heroes and T11 troops to guard duty
- Not maintaining Lighthouse coverage for the route — train routes through dark zones risk interference
- Driver burnout during Copper War — rotate driver duty so your rally leaders have energy for city fights
- Forgetting contract donations — even in a chaotic season, Gold Express requires contributions
