Missile Vehicle Squad Guide (Season 4)
Missiles in Season 4
Missile squads continue their rise as the essential Aircraft counter. Tesla and Fiona are the established core, and by Season 4, most serious Missile players have both heroes at high stars with strong gear. There are no new UR promotions or Exclusive Weapons for Missile heroes in Season 4 — Fiona's weapon arrives in Season 5. The power gains come from T11 troops and Tactics Cards, both of which benefit Missile squads significantly.
Missile squads are the counter-punch of Copper War. When enemy Aircraft rallies attack your alliance's cities, your Missile squads are the answer. With T11 Assault Raiders and optimised Tactics Cards, Tesla's Lightning Chain and Fiona's Radiation DoT hit harder than ever. Every alliance needs Missile players in Season 4 — the Aircraft threat does not go away.
What Changed from Season 3
T11 Troops
T11 troops provide a meaningful damage boost for Missile squads:
- Assault Raiders increase Tesla's chain damage and Fiona's Radiation DoT scaling — both scale from ATK
- Armored Troopers are viable if you are assigned garrison defence, but Missile squads generally stay on offence
- The 5-10% stat boost matters in Copper War fights where margins are tight
- See the T11 Troops Guide for details
Tactics Cards
Tactics Cards boost Missile damage significantly:
- ATK and crit rate cards amplify both Tesla's Lightning Chain and Fiona's Radiation
- Energy damage cards are particularly strong for Tesla's scaling
- Missile-specific combat cards provide better returns than generic alternatives
- Fiona's Radiation DoT benefits from sustained damage cards — look for damage-over-time amplifiers
- See the Tactics Cards Guide for loadout details
Darkness and Lighthouse
Darkness penalties affect Missile squads the same as everyone:
- -20% march speed slows your response time to Aircraft threats — stay near your alliance
- Light Buff bonus stats make a meaningful difference in close fights
- Stay in Lighthouse range for all PvP content
- See the Lighthouse Guide for electricity management
The Squad: Season 4 Formation
The Missile formation is stable from Season 3. No hero changes or positioning shifts:
T11 Troop Strategy for Missiles
Tactics Card Loadout for Missiles
PvP Loadout
- ATK and energy damage cards — Tesla's Lightning Chain scales directly from these stats
- Crit rate cards — crits on chain damage amplify Tesla's burst significantly
- Missile-specific combat cards — class bonuses stack with your existing type advantage against Aircraft
- Sustained damage cards — Fiona's Radiation DoT benefits from cards that boost damage over time
PvE Loadout
- AoE and chain damage cards — Tesla's Lightning Chain is already AoE. Cards that amplify chain or splash damage improve farming
- March speed cards — offset the darkness penalty for faster farming cycles
- Monster damage bonuses — direct PvE damage increase
- Troop survivability — reduce healing costs from daily Generator fuel farming
Copper War Counter-Pick Role
Missile squads serve a critical defensive and counter-offensive role in Copper War:
- Hunt enemy Aircraft rallies — when the opponent sends Aircraft to crack your cities, your Missile squads are the answer
- Reinforce cities under Aircraft attack — Missile garrisons specifically counter the most common Copper War offensive squad
- Scout before engaging — do not attack Tank garrisons. Let your Aircraft teammates handle those
In Copper War, Missile players are the reason Aircraft rallies fail. If your alliance has no Missile players, enemy Aircraft squads attack your cities with impunity. Your presence alone deters Aircraft-only strategies. Make sure your alliance leadership knows your squad type and assigns you to counter-Aircraft duty.
Blood Night Considerations
- Avoid solo zombie farming during Blood Night — even Tesla's chain damage is not efficient against powered-up Blood Night zombies
- Rally Doom Elites as a group — Tesla's energy damage is effective against Doom Elites when combined with alliance rallies
- Use Blood Night defensively — if enemies attack your cities during Blood Night, your Missile garrison is strongest against their likely Aircraft offence
- Farm zombies between Blood Night windows for Generator fuel efficiency
Preparing for Season 5
- Fiona's Exclusive Weapon arrives in Season 5 — this is the single biggest Missile upgrade in the game. Collect Fiona shards aggressively
- Venom's UR Promotion in Season 5 may change the Missile formation — start collecting shards
- Continue investing in Tesla — he remains the core carry regardless of formation changes
- Your Season 4 investment in Tactics Cards and T11 carries forward — nothing is wasted
Common Season 4 Missile Mistakes
- Not being available for Copper War counter-attacks — your alliance needs Missile players online during contested city fights
- Ignoring Tactics Cards — Tesla and Fiona both scale heavily from ATK cards. The gap between optimised and unoptimised Missile squads is large
- Attacking Tank garrisons — the combat triangle still applies. Let Aircraft handle Tanks
- Operating in darkness — the -20% march speed means you arrive too late to counter enemy Aircraft rallies
- Using PvE cards for Copper War fights — swap to your PvP loadout before every engagement
- Not farming zombies between Blood Night — Missile squads with Tesla's chain damage are efficient zombie farmers. Contribute to Generator fuel
