Alliance Duel VS (Season 4)
VS in Season 4
Alliance Duel VS follows the same 6-day structure in Season 4, but the environment has changed dramatically. Darkness penalties reduce resource generation, Blood Night disrupts daily schedules, and the Copper War competes for the same resources and attention you need for VS. Your alliance must balance VS preparation against Generator fuel farming, Lighthouse maintenance, and city defence.
For the full day-by-day mechanics, see the Alliance Duel VS Guide.
The biggest VS challenge in Season 4 is not the event itself — it is resource competition. Copper War demands troops, speedups, and attention. Generator fuel farming demands marches and time. Blood Night disrupts schedules three times daily. VS requires discipline to save resources when everything else in Season 4 is trying to consume them. Alliances that maintain VS discipline while managing Season 4 mechanics will pull ahead.
What Is Different in Season 4
Darkness Does Not Affect VS Directly
VS is instanced content — the darkness penalty does not apply inside the VS event itself. However:
- -30% resource generation means your resource stockpile grows slower between VS weeks
- Troop replacement is more expensive — slower resource generation after Day 6 losses hurts more
- Stay in Lighthouse range to maintain normal resource production for VS preparation
T11 Troops on Day 5 and Day 6
T11 troops change both Day 5 (Total Mobilisation) and Day 6 (Enemy Buster):
- Day 5: T11 troop training provides more points per unit. Waterfall training chains extend to T11
- Day 6: Assault Raiders hit harder and kill faster. Armored Troopers survive longer in garrison defence
- Troop type matters — check your T11 specialisation before Day 6. Do not be stuck on Armored Troopers when you need to attack
Tactics Cards
Tactics Cards add a new preparation step for Day 6:
- Swap to your PvP Tactics Card loadout before Day 6 combat
- Cards that boost your primary squad type provide meaningful advantage in Day 6 fights
- Do not forget to swap back to PvE loadout after Day 6
Copper War Resource Competition
Starting from Week 4, Copper War and VS compete for resources:
- Speedups saved for Day 5 cannot be used for Copper War troop replacements
- Troops lost in Copper War city fights are troops missing from Day 6
- Prioritise VS on the weeks that matter — not every VS week is equally important
- If Copper War pushes happen during your VS week, coordinate with alliance leadership to manage both
Blood Night Scheduling
Blood Night windows (02:30, 10:30, 18:30) can disrupt VS preparation:
- Day 5 falls on Friday — the 18:30 Blood Night window may conflict with peak training time
- Day 6 falls on Saturday — Blood Night windows do not directly affect instanced PvP combat
- Plan speedup usage around Blood Night — do not waste marches or attention during the 30-minute windows
Season 4 Day Priority
Season 4 Day 5 Strategy
Day 5 benefits from T11 troops extending the waterfall chain:
- Save ALL speedups Monday through Thursday — the discipline has not changed
- T11 troop training provides more points — the waterfall chain now includes T11 as the top tier
- Use the 4x training multiplier on Friday as always
- Coordinate alliance-wide — every member training on Friday
- Blood Night at 18:30 may overlap with peak Day 5 activity — have your speedups ready to use before or after the window
See the Season 4 Waterfall Training Guide for updated chain setups.
Season 4 Day 6 Strategy
Day 6 with T11 troops and Tactics Cards is more decisive than ever:
T11 Type Check
If you are on Armored Troopers and your Day 6 plan involves attacking, your damage is reduced. The 72-hour swap cooldown means you needed to switch to Assault Raiders by Wednesday at the latest. Conversely, if you are defending, Armored Troopers are ideal. Know your role before the week starts and swap accordingly.
Type-Matched Combat with T11
Tactics Card Loadout for Day 6
- Swap to PvP Tactics Card loadout before Day 6 — do not fight with PvE cards equipped
- Class-specific PvP cards outperform generic stat cards in type-matched fights
- Swap back to PvE loadout after Day 6 — do not forget
Season 4 Preparation Checklist
Common Season 4 VS Mistakes
- Spending speedups on Copper War instead of VS — decide weekly which event takes priority. Do not split resources inefficiently
- Fighting Day 6 with PvE Tactics Cards equipped — always swap before combat
- Wrong T11 type on Day 6 — check your specialisation by Wednesday and swap if needed
- Not adapting to the 18:30 Blood Night on Day 5 — plan your speedup usage around the window
- Ignoring VS because Copper War feels more important — VS provides consistent weekly rewards that compound over the season
- Resource generation penalty from darkness — stay in Lighthouse range to maintain normal production for VS stockpiling
