Crystal Event Guide — Crystal Factory, Shop & the Crystal Boss

Events · 2026-08-18

What the Crystal Event Is

The Crystal Event is a permanent, long-running event (live from Season 1 onward and running alongside every season). It has two linked halves: a passive Crystal Factory economy, and a daily Crystal Boss damage race on the World Map. Both feed the Crystal Shop, where you redeem the real prizes.

The one loop to remember

Daily Tasks → Crystal Ore → build/upgrade the Crystal Factory → it produces Amethyst Crystals → spend them in the Crystal Shop. On top of that, hit the Crystal Boss each day for more shop currency and Crystal Skill upgrades. Upgrade the Factory early — like a production building, its output compounds over the whole event.

The Crystal Factory Economy

PieceHow it works
Crystal OreEarned from Daily Task progress chests. Used to build and upgrade the Crystal Factory. Notably, the amount is not affected by resource multipliers, so there's no "boost window" to wait for — just claim it daily.
Crystal FactoryA building that passively produces Amethyst Crystals each cycle. Higher level = more output per cycle — so early upgrades pay back across the whole event.
Amethyst CrystalThe main Crystal Shop currency, produced by the Factory (and dropped by the Boss).
Crystal ShopSpend Amethyst (and Boss-only currencies) on valuable items. Stock and purchase limits refresh on a server-time timer — check the reset in the Event Center.
Upgrade the Factory first

Because Amethyst output compounds, your first priority is pushing the Crystal Factory's level with Crystal Ore, not hoarding Ore. Once the Factory is maxed, leftover Crystal Ore can be spent in the shop too — but early on, every level you add earns more Amethyst for the rest of the event.

The Crystal Boss (daily damage race)

The Polluted / Corrupted Crystal Boss appears on the World Map every Monday–Saturday at 00:00 server time and stays for 23 hours.

RuleDetail
Who can joinAny Commander at Base Level 20+
Attempts3 per day, and individual troop dispatches only — no rallies
RewardsHit damage thresholds for rewards (damage rewards reset weekly, achievement rewards per season). Drops shop currency + Crystal Skill items
PhasesFive, in order: Cannon → Armor → Chip → Radar → Core — difficulty ramps
Two things that change how you build for it

1. Type counters do NOT apply. The game states the Crystal Boss isn't affected by troop-counter mechanics — so Tank/Aircraft/Missile matchups are irrelevant. Bring your single highest raw-damage squad, whatever type it is.
2. Stack one troop type. The game's formation bonus rewards a matched line-up: 5 Heroes of the same troop type (all Tank, all Aircraft or all Missile) grants +20% HP, Attack and Defense to your Heroes (4 of a type = +15%, 3 = +10% mixed / +5% pure), and certain specific Heroes buff the whole squad — so a mono-type, max-damage line beats a "best 5 heroes ignoring type" line here. Because type counters don't apply, pick whichever single type gives you the biggest raw-damage five and stack it.

Gotcha: many buffs are switched off

Several buffs do not work against the Crystal Boss, so don't rely on them: War Fever, Charge Battle Flag, Tactics Card active skills, PvE Tactics cards, season military-rank buffs, and fish-consumption buffs. Plan your damage around what actually applies.

Daily Routine (~2 minutes)

  1. Claim Daily Task progress chests → bank the Crystal Ore.
  2. Upgrade the Crystal Factory with the Ore (until maxed) — keep the Amethyst flowing.
  3. Hit the Crystal Boss ×3 with your strongest raw-damage, single-troop-type squad (individual marches, not a rally).
  4. Level Crystal Skills with the Boss's skill drops.
  5. Spend Amethyst in the Crystal Shop on the priority items, before the timer resets.

What to Prioritise in the Shop

The shop stock is the whole point of the event, but the exact contents rotate and aren't fixed, so treat this as the rule of thumb rather than a fixed list: spend on the scarcest, highest-impact items first (hero shards / Exclusive-Weapon or Awakening materials / premium speed-ups) and skip filler resources you can get elsewhere. Because purchase limits reset on a timer, clear the high-value limited stock every reset rather than saving currency indefinitely.

Mechanics here (the Ore → Factory → Amethyst → Shop loop, the Boss spawn window / 3-attempt / no-rally / no-type-counter rules, the same-troop-type formation bonus, the disabled-buff list, the five phases) are taken from the in-game event and formation rules. The exact shop contents and priority, Crystal Ore amounts, Factory upgrade costs, and damage-reward tiers are best confirmed in your own client — they rotate between runs. If you've run it, tell us your numbers and we'll make them exact.

FAQ

Does the Crystal Boss care about troop type?

No. The game states the Crystal Boss isn't affected by troop-counter mechanics, so Tank/Aircraft/Missile matchups don't matter — bring your single highest raw-damage squad whatever its type.

How many times can I attack the Crystal Boss each day?

Three, and only as individual troop dispatches — rallies aren't allowed. It's open to Base Level 20+, and the boss spawns Monday–Saturday at 00:00 server time for 23 hours.

What's the fastest way to get Amethyst Crystals?

Upgrade the Crystal Factory early with Crystal Ore — its output compounds over the whole event — and hit the Crystal Boss daily. Both feed the Crystal Shop.

Do resource multipliers boost Crystal Ore?

No. The Crystal Ore from Daily Task chests is unaffected by resource multipliers, so there's no boost window to wait for — just claim it every day.

Which buffs don't work against the Crystal Boss?

War Fever, Charge Battle Flag, Tactics Card active skills, PvE Tactics cards, season military-rank buffs, and fish-consumption buffs are all disabled. The standard formation bonus still applies, so fielding 5 heroes of the same troop type does grant its +20% HP/Attack/Defense.
