How Season 3 Plays Out

Season 3 is faction warfare season with a hard endpoint. Two factions — Scarlet Legion and Golden Tribe — battle through twice-weekly Spice Wars, culminating in the Week 7 Faction Duel that decides the entire season. Every week of Curse Resistance research, Desert Protector accumulation, and Spice farming feeds into that final battle. Season 3 runs roughly 7-8 weeks with the Duel as the climax.

The Season 3 Chain of Causation

CR → PvE damage → Mithril and Sacred Water → Building upgrades → Spice Wars dominance → Spice → Final ranking → Faction Duel preparation. Every system feeds the next. Skip CR and the chain breaks at step one. Skip Spice Wars and the chain breaks at step five. Treat Season 3 as a single connected loop, not seven independent systems.

Week 0 — Season 2 → Season 3 Transition

The transition window:

Curse Resistance replaces Virus Resistance for season-specific PvE
Faction assignment — your alliance is placed in Scarlet Legion or Golden Tribe
Hot Deal currency reverts to Roulette — different from Season 2's Spins
Furnace and Temperature retire — Season 3 has no cold mechanic
Scarlett SSR→UR window opens — if you have her shards from Seasons 1-2, promote
Goal: Day 1 of Season 3, faction known, speedups banked, Curse Research Lab plan ready

Week 1 — Curse Research Lab and First PvE

Curse Resistance gates literally every piece of Season 3 PvE content. If your CR is too low, your damage drops by up to 99.9%. Build CR or be useless.

Curse Research Lab built and upgrading — top priority on Day 1
Blessing Fountain built — Sacred Water production starts compounding immediately
Protector's Field built — ready to hold Desert Protectors when they start converting
First Mummy Warlord rallies — test your CR threshold
Faction commitment confirmed — coordinate with alliance on faction strategy
Goal: Curse Research Lab Lv5+, Blessing Fountain producing, first Mummy Warlord killed

The Rally Leader Rule

The rally leader's CR applies to every participant. Your alliance only needs one or two players with high CR — those players lead all rallies. If a low-CR player leads, the entire alliance wastes troops. Identify your rally leader on Day 1 and route every rally through them.

Week 2 — Spice Wars Begin (Wednesday and Saturday)

Spice Wars is the headline PvP event and the primary way to earn Spice — the ranking currency. Two rounds per week. Missing them is permanent ranking damage.

Wednesday Spice War — first round, low pressure, tests coordination
Saturday Spice War — second weekly round, stakes already feel real
Defend Alliance Center first — worth 10% Spice if lost. Stack everything here
Attack secondary buildings first — 5% each, less defended, easier 20% steal than one risky Alliance Center push
Maximum 30% steal per round — once you hit cap, stop attacking and pivot to defence
Desert Protector accumulation — fight regular PvE to convert troop losses into Protectors
Goal: Both Spice Wars contested, Desert Protector pool growing, Alliance Center defence hardened

Week 3 — CR Push and Sacred Water Investment

By week 3, the alliances that built CR fast are killing Mummy Warlords twice as efficiently as those who skimped. The gap widens daily.

CR target: 500+ for rally leaders, scaling with server pace
Sandworm Scales → Sacred Water trade running constantly
Digging Strongholds upgraded — steady Mithril income established
Spice Wars round 3 and 4 — coordination tightens
Star promotion to 5-Star — gear becomes Mythic for top players
Goal: CR margin comfortable for top rallies, Sacred Water flowing, Mithril income stable

Week 4-5 — Mid-Season Push

Half the season is gone. The Faction Duel is two-and-a-half weeks away. This is when alliances either consolidate their faction's lead or fall behind it.

Maximum Spice extraction every round — both factions push hard
Desert Protector pool maxed out — the Faction Duel will burn through them
Alliance Center never lost — its 10% steal cost makes any loss catastrophic
Faction-wide coordination — alliances within your faction should communicate beyond just your own
Scarlett UR fully invested (Tank players) — skills, levels, gear
Goal: Spice ranking among top alliances in faction, Protector pool full, faction-wide coordination working

Week 6 — Faction Duel Preparation

Last full week before the Duel. Everything you have built tests itself in week 7. This week is the dress rehearsal.

Confirm rally leader assignments for the Duel
Stockpile speedups for healing during the Duel
Confirm faction strategy — defensive holds, offensive priorities, which alliance attacks which target
Spice Wars round 11 and 12 — last two rounds before the Duel
Goal: Strategy confirmed, rallies rehearsed, Protectors stockpiled, healing speedups banked

Week 7 — The Faction Duel

The season ends with the Faction Duel. Days 1-6 are the Invasion Right Contest (alliances compete for the right to participate in the final battle). Day 7 is the Duel itself.

After the Duel, the season winds down. Season 4 (Evernight Isle) is coming.

Save speedups for Season 4 — Lighthouse needs immediate power
Tactics Cards research — read up before Season 4 starts
Begin understanding Blood Night — three windows per day in S4
Goal: Final rewards claimed, S4 prep mindset locked in

Blood Night: 02:30, 10:30, 18:30 (30 min each) — three daily danger windows
Tactics Cards introduce a new enhancement system
Copper War starts Week 4 — final ranking is by accumulated copper
T11 troops in off-season — HQ 27 unlocks Armored Troopers and Assault Raiders

Common Season 3 Mistakes

Ignoring Curse Resistance — without CR your damage drops 99.9%. Not optional
Low-CR rally leaders — leader's CR applies to all. Always route through highest-CR player
Hoarding Desert Protectors — they exist to be used. Sitting on them while losing Spice Wars is pointless
Missing Spice Wars rounds — only two per week. Each missed round is permanent ranking damage
Neglecting Blessing Fountain — Sacred Water production is time-gated. Late starts cannot catch up
Not trading Sandworm Scales — scales sitting in inventory are wasted Sacred Water
Underestimating the Faction Duel — Week 7 arrives faster than you think
Not promoting Scarlett — free power for Tank players who collected her shards
Losing Alliance Center repeatedly — 10% Spice steal each time. Fortify above all else
Treating Spice Wars as optional — it is the ranking currency. Skipping it is skipping the season
