Tech Center Research — Season 6 (Lost Rainforest) Priority Order

Season 6 in One Sentence

Season 6 — Lost Rainforest — runs on faction warfare (Deepwood vs Wetland), the Altars system, permanent City Destruction, and Global Expedition — and crucially, hero progression pivots to Hero Awakening for Kimberly, DVA, and Tesla. By now the Tech Center is mostly a completion exercise: finish the deep scalers you've been building since Season 1 and feed the new hero direction.

The hero pivot: Awakening replaces Exclusive Weapons

In Season 6 there's no SSR→UR upgrade and no new Exclusive Weapons — instead the Awakening System arrives for Kimberly, DVA and Tesla (one per troop type), and an Awakening Skill replaces that hero's Expertise Skill. That's hero development, not Tech Center, but it's where late‑game hero power now goes. Core Tech Center names below are confirmed; the Altars / faction research is confirmed at the mechanic level — confirm node detail in‑game.

Season 6 Priority Order

1. Hero Awakening — Kimberly / DVA / Tesla (the new hero direction)

This is outside the Tech Center, but it's the headline late‑game hero investment: awaken the hero that matches your main squad type (Kimberly, DVA or Tesla) for an Awakening Skill that replaces the Expertise Skill. Plan your shard/awakening spend around your one squad type — the same "commit, don't spread" rule applies.

2. Finish Tactical Weapon (top priority in the Tech Center)

If anything remains, complete Tactical Weapon — max Support: Hero and Enhancement: Drone, all Assistance: Conversion, and every Limit Break node. A fully maxed Tactical Weapon is the biggest permanent hero + drone multiplier the Tech Center offers, and it amplifies your awakened hero.

3. Max everything still open: Mastery, Hero, T11 Armament

Close out your Type Mastery, your squad's Hero line, and the Armament Institute (T11) if S4–S5 didn't finish it. At this stage the goal is simply 100% on every tree that serves your one squad type.

4. Seasonal: Altars / faction research

Invest in the season's Altars and faction‑warfare research as it opens (Deepwood vs Wetland) — it drives your standing in the season's core conflict.

5. Competitive trees: Alliance Duel + defensive picks

Finish the Alliance Duel incentive tree for VS, and round out Defense Fortifications / Siege to Seize for the heavy PvP of City Destruction and Global Expedition.
