Season Passes Guide — Every Purchasable Pass in Last War
What Counts as a "Season Pass"?
In Last War: Survival, "pass" is a category that covers every recurring or season-bound product with the Free / Advanced / Premium tier structure, plus a handful of subscription-style products like the Super Monthly Pass. They are different from one-off bundle packs (Growth Fund, EW shards, hero packs) — passes deliver rewards over time as you complete tasks, not all at once.

Several passes were removed or reworked in a monetisation update earlier this year. The Awakening Battle Pass is gone (Awakening Shards are now F2P-only via Hero Awakening Trial + Global Expedition). Some Custom Weekly Pass appearances have been pulled from rotation. Always confirm a pass is currently available in your in-game shop before planning spend around it — outdated guides (including older versions of this site's content) may still describe removed passes.
The Pass Inventory
Seasonal Battle Pass
The headline pass for each season. One Seasonal Battle Pass per season, lasting the full season.
- Free track: Modest rewards at every tier — gems, speedups, basic resources, some hero shards
- Advanced (paid): 500 Gold Bricks (~$4.99 equivalent). Unlocks the mid-tier reward path
- Premium (paid): 2,000 Gold Bricks (~$19.99 equivalent). Unlocks the top reward path on top of Advanced
- Season-specific currency: Each season's BP gives a season-themed currency (e.g. Rainforest Mushrooms in Season 6) usable in the season store
How to buy: Tap the Battle Pass icon (top of main map) → choose Advanced or Premium → confirm with Gold Bricks. Buying early in the season is mandatory — purchase retroactively unlocks all rewards from tiers you've already passed, but you lose out on bonus task points if you delay.

Hero Growth Battle Pass
A separate, shorter pass that recurs in the Hot Deals during specific weeks of the season (typically Weeks 2 and 6).
- Tiers: Free / Advanced (500 GB) / Premium (2,000 GB) — same structure as Seasonal BP
- Reward focus: Hero progression — Universal Hero Shards or Exclusive Weapon Shards for the featured hero
- Tasks: Daily and target tasks similar to the Seasonal BP, but on a compressed timeline
- Best for: Players actively building the featured hero. Skip if the featured hero isn't on your active squad
How to buy: Hot Deals icon → look for the Hero Growth Battle Pass card → Advanced or Premium.
Hero Growth Battle Pass shards are hero-specific. Buying it for a hero you don't intend to invest in wastes the entire premium fee. Check which hero is featured before purchasing — if it's not your main rally lead or VS Day 5 carry, the value drops sharply. Same logic applies to Exclusive Weapon shard rewards.
Special Training Pass
A 7-day pass focused on gear power — gear upgrade materials, ceramic, blueprints, training-related items.
- Tiers: Free / Advanced (500 GB) / Premium (2,000 GB)
- Reward focus: Gear progression materials — most useful during HQ pushes when you're upgrading multiple gear pieces in parallel
- Best for: Mid-game players (HQ 18-30) actively upgrading gear stars
How to buy: Hot Deals icon → Special Training Pass card. Recurring — appears every few weeks.
Drone Training Pass
A 7-day pass focused on drone progression — Drone Cogs, drone parts, and drone-related materials. Same Free / Advanced (500 GB) / Premium (2,000 GB) structure.
Best for: Players actively progressing their drone tier (especially during pre-season and post-merge windows when drone power matters most). Skip if your drone is parked at a comfortable tier.
How to buy: Hot Deals → Drone Training Pass when in rotation.
Custom Weekly Pass
A 7-day pass with player-chosen daily rewards from a menu of options.
- Premium tier: 500 GB. Includes 500 Diamonds, gold currency, 500 VIP Points, 1 Alliance Gift, 50 Energy Badges as instant rewards. Choose 2 daily rewards from the 8-option menu
- Elite tier: 10,000 GB (~$99 equivalent — heavy spender territory). On top of Premium, adds 1,000 more diamonds, 10,000 VIP Points, 1 more Alliance Gift, 100 more Energy Badges. Choose 4 daily rewards
- Daily reward menu: 2 Hero Weapon Shards, 10 Drone Cogs, 40 Dielectric Ceramics, 2 UR Resource Choice Chests, 6 SSR Hero EXP Items, 100 Stamina, 100×5-min Speed-Ups, 1,000 Upgrade Ore — each option choosable once per pass
The Custom Weekly Pass was reportedly pulled from rotation as part of the 2026 monetisation update, but some sources still list it as active in Hot Deals. If you don't see it in your in-game Hot Deals tab, it's currently paused for your region/server. The Premium tier (500 GB) was traditionally one of the better value passes; the Elite tier at 10,000 GB is whale-tier and almost never the right call.
Super Monthly Pass
A 30-day subscription-style pack — the only pass permanently available in the shop (not tied to events or seasons).
- Cost: ~$24.99 / 2,500 Gold Bricks
- Instant rewards: 2,500 Gems + 300 VIP Points
- 30-day perks: Full VIP privileges at your current VIP level, extra marching squad, Garage 4 unlock, +10% gathering speed, -5% damage from map monsters, exclusive avatar frame, chat translation
- 30-day daily payout (cumulative): ~5,500 gems, 3,000+ stamina, 60 Hero Recruitment Tickets, 150+ hours universal speedups, 375+ ceramic upgrade materials, plus super alloy and resource drops
How to buy: Shop icon → Subscriptions or Monthly Pass card → confirm purchase.
The 30-day cumulative payout exceeds 8,000% return on the upfront cost. The extra marching squad alone is a meaningful PvE/gathering boost; the daily gem and speedup drip turns spendable cash into permanent compounding progression. If you spend at all on the game, the Super Monthly Pass is widely considered the highest-ROI single subscription. Only skip it if you're committed to F2P or already past the spending tier where its daily rewards matter (HQ 35+, mature account).
Event Battle Passes
Limited-time Battle Passes tied to real-world events: New Year, Easter, Halloween, anniversaries, etc.
- Same Free / Advanced / Premium tier structure as the Seasonal BP
- Event-specific currency that funnels into the event store (New Year Tokens, Easter Eggs, etc.)
- Duration: Typically 7-14 days, matching the event window
- Value: Highly variable — read the rewards carefully. Event passes that include heroes shards or exclusive cosmetics tend to be A-tier; pure-currency event passes are often skippable
How to buy: Event hub icon (appears on main map during the event) → Battle Pass tab.
Awakening Battle Pass — Removed
The Awakening Battle Pass historically delivered 70 named Awakening Shards for a season's featured Awakening hero. It was removed as part of the 2026 monetisation update. Awakening Shards are now obtained exclusively through:
- Hero Awakening Trial — up to 10 shards per hero, F2P
- Global Expedition (Weeks 2, 4, 6 of an Awakening season) — the primary shard source, F2P
If a guide on this site or elsewhere still mentions the Awakening Battle Pass, treat that section as out of date.
In-Game Currency: Gold Bricks
Every paid pass tier is priced in Gold Bricks — Last War's premium currency. You buy Gold Bricks with real money via:
- Top-up in the in-game shop (multiple denominations, larger packs give bonus bricks)
- Third-party top-up sites can offer 15-30% discounts on Gold Bricks (LDShop, TopUpLive, etc.) — verify your server supports these before purchasing
The standard tier-to-Gold Brick mapping:
USD equivalents are approximate; Gold Brick conversion rates vary by the pack you buy them in, region, and platform.
Pass Priority Order — Where to Spend First
For accounts that spend at all, the order of operations:
- Super Monthly Pass — best dollar-for-dollar pass in the game. Renew every 30 days as long as you're playing actively
- Seasonal Battle Pass Premium — buy in Week 1 of every season. Two-thousand Gold Bricks for a full season of compounding rewards is consistently strong value
- Hero Growth Battle Pass — only when the featured hero is on your active squad. Premium tier (2,000 GB) preferred over Advanced (500 GB) for the EW shards
- Special Training Pass — during HQ push windows when you're upgrading multiple gear pieces. Skip when your gear is stable
- Drone Training Pass — only if you're actively pushing drone tier
- Event Battle Passes — case-by-case. Read the rewards, skip the pure-cosmetic ones
- Custom Weekly Premium — when in rotation and the daily menu lines up with your needs (Hero Weapon Shards + Drone Cogs is the usual high-value combo)
- Custom Weekly Elite — almost never. Whale-tier only
For F2P: Free track on every pass that runs. The Free track on the Seasonal BP alone delivers significant cumulative gems and speedups across a season. Free track tasks also stack with daily routines you're already running.
How to Buy Any Pass — Step-by-Step
- Open Last War: Survival
- Find the pass:
- Seasonal BP → top of main map (Battle Pass icon)
- Hero Growth / Special Training / Drone Training / Custom Weekly → Hot Deals icon (typically right side of map)
- Super Monthly Pass → Shop → Subscriptions tab
- Event Battle Pass → Event hub icon during the event window
- Tap the tier you want (Advanced or Premium)
- Confirm payment in Gold Bricks (top up first if needed)
- The pass activates immediately — past task progress retroactively unlocks rewards
If you don't see a pass listed here in your in-game shop, it may not be in current rotation for your server, or it may have been removed in a recent update.
Common Pass Mistakes
- Buying Hero Growth BP for a hero you're not building — shards are hero-specific; matching to your active carry is non-negotiable
- Delaying Seasonal BP purchase past Week 2 — you miss the bonus task points that buyers get retroactively, reducing total tier reach
- Buying Custom Weekly Elite at 10,000 GB — the marginal extra value over Premium rarely justifies the 20× cost step. Whale-territory only
- Skipping the Super Monthly Pass while spending on individual gem packs — the Monthly Pass delivers more gems over 30 days than two $9.99 generic gem packs combined
- Buying the Special Training Pass when your gear is stable — it's optimised for active gear-upgrade windows, not idle accounts
- Confusing the Seasonal BP with the Hero Growth BP — they run in parallel. Premium-buying both during a season is a real cost; pick one if budget is tight
- Buying event passes for the rewards without checking the event store conversion rate — sometimes the event currency converts poorly back into useful items
- Looking for the Awakening Battle Pass — it was removed. All Awakening Shards now come from Hero Awakening Trial + Global Expedition (free)
