Reactivate the Nuclear Furnace (Season 2) — Glacieradon & Warzone Ranking
What This Event Is
The Nuclear Furnace sits at the polar centre of the Season 2 map. In the season's story it is the heat distribution hub — all warmth radiates from it — which is exactly why Emperor Boreas froze it and plunged the region into ice. The city furnaces you have been running until now are temporary stand-ins.
Reactivate the Nuclear Furnace is the event where the warzone takes it back. You capture the Furnace, then march troops into it to build activation progress. When that progress fills, the Furnace switches on and heats the entire map.
Two things stand between you and that: the progress bar is large, and four Glacieradons are walking toward the Furnace knocking chunks out of it.
Warzones are ranked against each other by how fast they activate the Furnace, and the faster warzones earn a higher Furnace temperature. That temperature is a standing benefit for everybody in your warzone for the rest of the season — it is not a one-off chest. A warzone that squabbles internally and activates slowly is colder than its neighbours until Season 2 ends.
