City Destruction Guide
What Is City Destruction?
City Destruction is the headline strategic mechanic of Season 6, and it works more simply than it sounds: you capture a City in an enemy faction's Warzone and it is automatically destroyed. There is no separate demolition step — capture is destruction. Destroyed Cities cannot be rebuilt, their territory stops providing adjacency, and the ground itself passes to your faction.
This is not a capture mechanic. When you capture a city, it becomes yours and the enemy can take it back. When you destroy a city, it is gone from the map for the season. The enemy faction permanently loses its influence points, its resource production, and its positional value. Season 6 is the first Last War season where you can inflict irreversible damage on the enemy.
